Master has an apprentice. Tries to teach his apprentice the ways of world and skills to be the best. For whatever reason the apprentice is now tasked with the job of catching his previous master and action ensues.
Yes that could be the synopsis of many movies, but in this case it’s describing the plot from The November Man.

Peter Devereaux (The master played by Pierce Brosnan) is a former CIA agent who is out of the game. One day he’s approached by his old boss and friend to extract an undercover agent who will only come out of cover and provide the CIA with vital information if its Deveraux that extracts her. This information proves that the man currently running to be Russia’s president has been very naughty.

Everything doesn’t run smoothly and Devereaux (Now in possession of important info) is now being hunted by, yep you guessed it, his former pupil and apprentice ‘Mason’ (Played by Luke Bracey).

Of course there’s a woman involved and she (Olga Kurylenko) is key to taking down the very naughty president wannabe and needs Devereux’s protection.

The film is fast paced, fun and action packed. The story is pretty straight forward and allows the viewer to enjoy the film instead of trying to figure out what the hell is going on.

Brosnan is obviously known for his portrayal of Bond and he hasn’t lost any of the charm and wit he brought to that iconic role.

This film won’t change your life and it won’t win any awards but it will surely entertain you.
