Why did you want to watch the film?
Because it is awesome and I’ve watched it before and I love it because it is like a computer game that you watch not play.

What was it about? (contains spoilers)
“Wreck-It Ralph” is a computer game character who is the bad guy but he wants to be the good guy. And he wants to live in the big building with the with the other people from the game. They say if he gets a medal he can, then he wins a medal but Vanellope steals it. Vanellope is a glitch (I don’t know what that means but she keeps flashing). After a bit Vanellope and Wreck-It Ralph become friends and he helps her win a race and she’s not a glitch any more. Then he’s happy to be the bad guy in his game because he’s still really a good guy and everyone likes him and they have a party for him because he’s a hero.

Did you like it?
Yes, It is so awesome

Which part did you like the best?
The start where Wreck-It Ralph goes to a meeting with other bad guys and they talk about themselves. I want to say two things mommy because I really really love the bit where Vanellope wins the race because loads and loads of stuff keeps happening.

Which part did you like the least?
When Wreck-It Ralph loses his medal because that made him angry and he pretended to be a monster. And he chases Vanellope.

Would you want to watch it again and why?
I’ve already answered this silly! Yes, of course I will I’ve already watched it loads of times because it is an awesome film, and I love it so much.

Parent’s notes:
Wreck-It Ralph is a fantastic film that all the family can enjoy together, I watched it with JR (6), TP (4), LA (2), and their grandparents. We all really enjoyed it which rarely happens, there’s usually at least one person who complains about the choice of viewing.

Based on a computer game character with plenty of references to retro games this is the perfect way way to introduce your kids to the games of your youth. In fact JR and TP have been asking me to get them a copy of Sonic the Hedgehog since they’ve watched Wreck-It Ralph. As always with Disney films  keep your eyes peeled for the hidden Disney characters and easter eggs throughout the film. Wreck-It Ralph also has an underlying moral message of learning acceptance both of others and ourselves.

There are a few scenes of mild violence that might not be suitable for all children, however my 3 were fine with it. Netflix says Wreck-It Ralph is suitable for ages 5-12 but personally I would say that it is suitable for those over the age of 3.
